Scripture: Matthew 2:22 NIV - “But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee.”

Observation: In Matthew chapter 2, God warned everyone in their dreams, ultimately protecting baby Jesus. The key to receiving God's protection is to hear and obey His warnings.

God protects us through His warnings, which can come in various forms such as a dream, scripture, or a reminder from a loved one. We need to be sensitive to His warnings and be discerning, ensuring that they align with His word in the Bible, just like the prophecy that Jesus would be a Nazarene. One way to increase our sensitivity to His warnings is by regularly reading His word and seeking His guidance. When we heed His warnings, we can trust that He will protect and guide us through whatever challenges we may face.
